This course covers the technical and diagnostic processes of electroencephalography (EEG) in clinical applications, starting from its fundamental concepts. Within the scope of the education, operational processes such as laboratory standards, patient preparation, and electrode placement protocols are examined alongside routine and bedside EEG recording methods. The curriculum focuses on specialized areas including the definition and application criteria of sleep EEG, specific EEG patterns, and background activity disorders. Furthermore, it aims to provide a clinical perspective by combining the EEG evaluation of neurological conditions such as epilepsy, dementia, and metabolic diseases with activation methods and video monitoring techniques. |
