OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The objective of this course is to enable students to develop and implement a design concept that incorporates residential functions (and optionally office spaces) within the context of a landscaped site. Throughout the course, students will engage in processes such as spatial analysis, structural constraints, functional programming, and design expression, ultimately delivering a project presentation at a professional standard.
Contents of the Course Unit: The course content encompasses the spatial and functional analysis of residential and optional office functions within a garden-related setting, the examination of existing physical conditions, the integration of these findings into the design process, and the development of an original interior architecture project. Students will present their projects using professional representation techniques and participate in jury evaluations.

Defines and lists the functional components of a residential-office space associated with a garden.
Develops and visualizes a design concept based on spatial, functional, and contextual data.
Analyzes the structural and spatial constraints of the designated site and integrates these findings into the conceptual design process.
Designs a residential-office project by incorporating functional solutions and represents the design through physical and/or digital models.
Prepares architectural drawings and visual materials that effectively communicate the design proposal in accordance with professional standards.
Presents and defends the project before a jury, explaining design decisions and their contextual rationale.
