OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS |

| Objectives of the Course Unit: | The main objective of this course is to teach the social dimension of old age and to evaluate the social problems of old age. |
| Contents of the Course Unit: | In this lesson macro processes that are related to aging, demographic developments in Turkey and in the world, the transformation of the family; socialization in the context of the relationship between society and old age, role transitions and role changes related to old age, stress and adaptation processes; In the context of old age and retirement, the concepts of work, retirement, leisure, old age policies and practices are included. |
