OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS
Objectives of the Course Unit:	To ensure that students learn the legislation related to aviation security.
Contents of the Course Unit:	It includes the fundamental concepts related to aviation security, as well as the historical development and current status of national and international regulations.

Explains the fundamental concepts, historical development, and scope of aviation security.
Explains the basic terminology, threat factors, the context of terrorism, and the roles of national and international organizations related to civil aviation security.
Interprets international legislation and conventions related to aviation security, particularly ICAO Annex 17.
Explains the structure, objectives, and implementation processes of the National Civil Aviation Security Program.
Analyzes the security organizations, procedures, and responsibilities of airport and aircraft operators.
Applies and evaluates security procedures related to screening methods, prohibited items, the EDS system, cargo security, and dangerous goods.
