OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: To provide knowledge and skills on the historical development of the Turkish economy by analysing its fundamental characteristics and current issues.
Contents of the Course Unit: A periodical analysis of the Turkish economy from the pre-Republic era to the present, including economic policies, crises, and international relations.

Understands and interprets the fundamental characteristics of the Turkiye economy.
Critically analyses current issues in the Turkiye economy.
Examines the historical development of the Turkiye economy by periods and evaluates it through comparisons with developed economies.
