The aim of this course is to enable students to apply the theoretical knowledge and skills they acquire during their education in a practical way in public and private healthcare institutions, in accordance with the field of Digital Health Systems Technician. It also aims to address digital health information systems, health informatics infrastructures, electronic patient records, and health data management processes with an integrated approach to healthcare management and business functions. In this context, the course contributes to preparing students for professional life as qualified digital health systems technicians needed by the healthcare sector by enabling them to gain competence in applying the organizational structure, management processes, service delivery models, and basic business principles of healthcare institutions in relation to digital health systems, to increase their professional qualifications, and to acquire work discipline, teamwork skills, and ethical responsibility awareness. |

This course involves students observing and practically experiencing service processes related to digital health systems in public or private healthcare institutions. The course includes an introduction to the program and planning of the implementation process, an introduction to the 3+1 education model, selection of healthcare institutions for the application and student assignments, on-site examination of health information systems, use of electronic patient record systems, digital data entry, control and reporting processes, the operation of health informatics software, and observation of health management, business processes, organizational structure, and workflows. |
